I’ve been obsessing about the little Lily of the Valley Easter basket for weeks now. Something about the little bell-shaped teeny flowers really turns me to mush. Available at Smith and Hawken for $39 (yikes). To the right is a fabulous type of orchid call Red Epidendrum ($49). The burst of color there just screams spring (in a non tulip-py unconventional way).

Smokes like a Chimney

smokes like a chimney

I’m back but too lazy to edit the photo size. This little tree-looking thing here is actually an ash tray. When you stick your cigarette butt in the hole at the base the smoke rises thru the lung-shaped twines, reminding you of the eminent truth happening in your body. I’m not a smoker myself, but if I were, I’d probably try to avoid the “obvious message” like the plague. Interesting concept nonetheless. Made by Italian product design company - Industreal.
