Uber slick children should all have uber slick toy boxes. Box is made with certified sustainable birch wood with all sorts of kid-friendly features like non-toxic paint (in case they lick the box) and slow-closing spring thinggy (in case they stick their heads in it). Brownie points to the use of eco-friendly materials. This piece is versatile and subtle - not too child-like. I love the basic form and ever slightly rounded corners. It will be one that will definitely grow with your kids for a long time. The Fuji Toybox is a part of the Argington furniture line, available for $420 (pricey, but worth the splurge, imho) at Vivavi.

If I had a kid I’d totally go for this little thing instead of the fabric bibs. The bib clip transforms any good ol’ napkin into a snuggly bib for your baby. Sure, it wont look as cute, but there’ll be one less piece of laundry to do. Compact and easy to carry around anywhere. $36 for set of 3 at Modern Mini.

Boon has fresh innovative product design geared towards babies. We all know what the baby potty bench does ($35), but this one is just that much prettier than average. The strange device on the left here is called Flo. It is a multi-purpose bathtub faucet gadget thing that helps divert the flow of water for easy shampooing and bathing without going “bucket-bath” style. It also dispenses bubblies and is made of soft materials to protect your precious from hitting his or her head on the faucet. There’s no installation required. Brilliant. Best of all it’s only $15. Both available at Babygeared.

New category - baby! Yes, it’s that time of life when I’m simply surrounded by many baby-to-be or baby-just-arrived friends. This category is dedicated to them. First up - Bella Mia one-of-a-kind hand made baby blankets. Each piece has a little tale to its own (most inspired by nursery rhymes). Left: Luxury in a Blanket Rosebud Boutique Blanket ($39.50), and right, Hey Diddle Diddle, The Cat and the Fiddle Boutique Rosebud Large Blanket ($64.50). Remember, these are unique items so there’s usually just one in stock.

I’m on a toy roll here. The super fun Pee & Poo plush toy says “we belong together” in ways nothing else can. Use it to teach your baby one of the most important lesson in early life. Use it to say I love you to the darling pee or poo of your life. Just too cute. They also have a variety of branded Ts and such as well. More here. (Thanks Tobin!).
